Post Harvest

Once harvest is complete work begins on next years crop immediately. The process of rennovation involves berries being chopped between two and three inches above the ground.

The next step is multivating the rows back to approximately 12-18 inches in width, cutting the plants back, and throwing soil on top of the rows.  This stimulates new root formation, providing for healthier, stronger plants the following year.

Hoeing, field cultivation, and irrigation are constant throughout the summer and fall keeping our plants healthy and weed free is our main objective until winter.
