Frequently Asked Questions

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash/credit card only

What are your hours of operation?

Mother Nature along with supply and demand ultimately determine our hours of picking. Normal farm hours during harvest are Monday-Friday, 8AM-8PM, Saturday & Sunday 8AM-5PM. For the most current picking conditions and hours please sign up for our email list, or follow us on Facebook.

Are you an ORGANIC FARM?

While we are not a certified organic farm, we do work very closely with Michigan State University on an Integrated Pest Management System. This means we use the LEAST amount of pesticides necessary in order to ensure the high quality of fruit our customers have come to expect. NO chemicals are applied post bloom, which means our berries are 100% safe to eat directly in the field, no washing is required! Weeds on our farm are taken care of with a good ole' fashioned hoe! We take great pride in maintaining the most weed free fields possible. Hoeing takes place on our farm from early spring into late fall...you can come by on any given day and 99% of the time there will be a group out weeding the fields!

Are children welcome?

ABSOLUTELY! Strawberry picking is family fun and great for children of ALL AGES! Some of the best childhood memories are made in the berry patch. Our only request is that they are well supervised for their own safety.

Do you have restrooms?

Yes, we have porta pottys available on the farm.

Do you offer pre-picked berries?

Yes! While our farm is set up perfectly for the u-pick experience, we realize that not everyone has the time or ability to pick their own. Already picked berries are sold by the quart fresh off the vine. We try to keep a large supply on hand at all times. However, they are sold on a first come first serve basis! Therefore, the best way to guarantee availability is to call/email 24 hours prior, especially those wanting large quantities. You will receive a confirmation email/phone call the evening prior to pick up.

Do you allow pets on your farm?

While pets are not permitted in our strawberry fields, they can be walked on a leash in and around the parking areas.

Do you allow strollers/wagons in the fields?

When our fields are full of ripe fruit, it is very difficult to navigate a stroller/wagon down the rows without damaging the fruit you will be picking. Therefore, strollers/wagons are only allowed on the outside rows of our fields. If you have a little one that requires a stroller please let our field attendants know and they will do their best to accommodate you!

Do you use GMO’s?

No we do not use GMO's. All of our plants are GMO free. For more information on GMO's please visit: https://gmoanswers.com/

Do we have to bring our own containers?

We supply the containers for picking, free of charge. In addition, our scales are calibrated to deduct the weight of the tray when you check out. So essentially, you are just paying for your fruit!

How long does strawberry season last?

A normal season lasts approximately 21 days, weather dependent.  A normal harvest begins around June 10th, again, this is determined by Mother Nature.  It could be sooner, it could be later!  We strongly encourage you to sign up for our email list for the most up to date harvest information.  Once harvest does begin, the berries DO NOT WAIT for anyone or anything.  It is an extremely SHORT..SWEET season!  Watch your emails closely so you don't miss out!
